Worked on over 100 projects with collaborating companies (Department of Defense, NASA-JPL, Toyota, Intel, Facebook, NAVSEA, LANL, Apple, Snap, Boeing, TTM, Honda, Lockheed Martin, Honeywell, etc.) and offered consultation to their engineering teams.

Prodigious experience in Titanium alloys, similar fabrication metals, composites and exotic materials.”

Dr. Christopher Lynch

Named the fourth dean of the Marlan and Rosemary Bourns College of Engineering in 2018 and is the William R. Johnson Jr. Family Chair.

He received his Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Most recently, he served as chair of the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of California, Los Angeles and also previously served as director of the No. 1 ranked Master of Science in Engineering Online Program at UCLA.

​A distinguished leader, Dean Lynch is a Fellow of ASME and SPIE, was the 2014 recipient of the SPIE Smart Materials and Structures Lifetime Achievement Award, and has issued more than 100 refereed publications and more than 80 conference publications.

Yoanna Villa is a Recruiter who works at the Marvin Group and specializes in technical recruiting, data analytics, and business development. Has over 5 years of experience working in talent acquisition and Human Resource Management with heavy recruitment for the Department of Defense. She attended the California State University, Dominguez Hills where she received her certification in Human Resources Management.

She was awarded with a certificate of accomplishment from the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University while working with Marvin Engineering’s Procurement and Supply Chain department in 2021. Passionate about working on talent solutions with the aerospace and defense industry and providing industry leaders with the right talent is her motivation.
